The unusual location may date back to the 12th century and be reminiscent of old times, but inside the casemates modern MICE dreams come true: flip charts, pin boards, projectors as well as screens all ensure that everyone present is equally well informed. Microphones, audio systems, a stage and podium allow you to reach even the very back rows. Or, if the weather is great, move your event outside – the high-end equipment also makes it possible to hold events in the open. If your guests (or just some of them) are prevented from attending on-site, the venue allows for hybrid events, too. This gives you the opportunity to hold your face-to-face and online event simultaneously. An experienced technical team will assist you so that you hold perfect presentations with adequate sound design. What else is at your disposal? During your event the catering kitchen from the in-house restaurant Das Tscherte will pamper you with invigorating delicacies. Then just continue getting inspired whilst you’re here: The permanent exhibition “The City as a Fortress” merges the history of Wiener Neustadt with modern technology. Learn how the eventful history of the casemates transformed over the centuries with the help of entertaining and informative films. The connection to the past is also noticeable in the location's trophy collection: The Slovenian architecture company Bevk Perovic received the renowned “Piranesi Award” in 2020 for designing the casemates. Not only the venue itself is excellent, but also the public transport network to reach it. It's a five-minute walk from the train station and 30 minutes by train from Vienna to the event venue in the green city park. Speaking of green: the Kasematten are not only located in the midst of a magnificent natural setting, but they also boast green event certification making it a sustainable event location. Experience total harmony with nature when you ride on the nearby Salamander train. This takes you very comfortably from Puchberg up to the 2,075-metre-high Schneeberg for heavenly views over the Viennese Alps.
