A walk-in summit cross as an extraordinary event location
What sounds almost surreal becomes reality in the Tirolean mountains: On the summit of the Buchensteinwand at an altitude of 1,456 metres, you have the unique opportunity to hold your corporate event in the world's largest walk-in summit cross. Organise innovative meetings and workshops in four rooms flooded with daylight. The sky’s the limit up here so let your imagination run wild in your quest for brilliant new ideas. Together with your guests, benefit from the fantastic views of the Kitzbühel Alps, whilst your inner horizons automatically broaden. Stimulating discussions and interaction takes place at these lofty heights as though all on its own; not only MICE dreams come true in the Jakobskreuz, but so do wishes for the best views.
Forests, workshops and far-reaching views: the Jakobskreuz in the Tirolean mountains
You want to achieve a lot at your corporate event? Chisel away at your corporate vision, design new sales strategies or determine next year's budget? At the Jakobskreuz you do not only reach new heights metaphorically: the Buchensteinwand Pillersee cable car takes you directly up to an altitude of 1,456 metres. Once at the top, you and your small team can choose from four rooms flooded with lots of natural light for workshops and exciting meetings. You want to strengthen the group dynamics of your guests at a team-building event or bring your participants closer together at incentives? These types of events can also be organised here. The 35-square-metre room accommodates 30 people with banquet-style or cocktail-style seating. The theatre-style seating version accommodates 30 guests. If you and your team opt for the U-shaped layout, you will be seated with 16 people at the table. And with classroom-style seating, you fill the largest room with 16 people. By the way, the venue has a total capacity to hold about 150 participants.
Between 360° panoramic views and all-round facilities
During meetings let your gaze wander over rock faces and treetops that stand between the Kitzbühel Alps, the Loferer and Leoganger Steinberge mountains and the Steinplatte. If, in addition to the 360° panoramic view, you need even more mental inspiration and technical support, the barrier-free seminar rooms provide you with helpful tools: using a projector and screen as well as the 60-inch screens, you can reach all participants at the same time during presentations. Thanks to the microphone and audio system, even the last rows in the back can keep up with your ideas. And for smaller seminars, a flip chart and presentation case help to incite brainstorming sessions with a wealth of ideas. When you leave the rooms equipped with Wi-Fi for a creative break, you can take a breather on the five viewing platforms. Speaking of breaks: snacks, a fruit basket and drinks are available to regain your strength. Or you can visit the Das Weitblick Restaurant at the mountain station for an ample feast. Do you find Tirol appealing? Or are you staying longer in the Alps for your event anyway? The nearby 4-star Naturhotel Kitzspitz or the Boutique Hotel Unterlechner will gladly accommodate you during your stay.
Views – outward to inward: Dive into PillerseeTal
If you are already exploring the vicinity lying offside from the meetings and workshops, then check out some natural highlights in the area via the parking lot for 390 cars at the valley station. The PillerseeTal lies nestled in the midst of the awe-inspiring mountain scenery of the Kitzbühel Alps, which you can hike around using a number of trails. The emerald-green Lake Pillersee, located in the heart of the valley, is also worth making a detour for and can be encircled in less than two hours. For a team-building event, visit the world's oldest mountain pine oil distillery, Josef Mack in St. Ulrich am Pillersee and go on a guided tour through the distillery museum to learn all about the historical treasures. Take the opportunity to indulge in sports, lifestyle and culinary delights in the small town of Kitzbühel, which lies 25 kilometres away. If you would like to explore the Jakobskreuz more closely, spend some serene moments in the Antonius Chapel found in the base of the structure.
