The four meeting rooms on this vast site can easily be adapted and customised for particular purposes and for a broad portfolio of events: seminars and workshops, business events of all kinds and even trade fairs, conferences and product launches can all be organised at the Tabakfabrik. The beating heart of the complex is the newly refurbished Lösehalle (Release Hall), a steel construction with glass rooflights and bare brick walls that is instantly eye-catching. In the past, people used to make tobacco in the Lösehalle. Nowadays, it's the setting for some spectacular events. The technically and acoustically perfect, 1,300-square-meter hall has room for up to 850 people with theatre-style seating. The outdoor area can be used for breaks in the fresh air or even as a separate event venue: under the spreading chestnut tree on the Peter Behrens Platz there's a relaxing garden for visitors. For large-scale outdoor events, you can even hire the entire square.

In addition to all the standard equipment, stages and podiums, the Tabakfabrik Linz prides itself on offering innovative presentation and conference technologies. Hybrid events can be organised here, easily combining in-person and online participants. The sophisticated technology even permits a very special extra feature: at the Tabakfabrik, talks, presentations and whole events can be streamed for an external audience. The required staff and infrastructure are provided by the venue itself. The Tabakfabrik's exclusive catering partner provides refreshments and certainly lives up to its name of Good Karma Gastro. Even when it comes to the gastronomy, there's no shortage of innovation, with the catering here being regarded as the most creative in the city. Sustainability is a high priority and the venue aims to offer guests a special taste experience. Freshly cooked pizza, tasty Pad Thai and homemade cakes are also available in the building itself. Activities in and around the factory

There are always exhibitions taking place in this unusual industrial building. From November 2021, for example, works by the street art icon Banksy will be on display. The brand-new exhibition, "The Mystery of Banksy – A Genius Mind", featuring graffiti, photographs, sculptures and video installations, gives you an insight into the world of this exceptional creative artist. In spring 2022, an in-house brewery with a beer culture centre is due to open at the Tabakfabrik. Next to the modern cafeteria, another multifunctional event hall for up to 230 people is being built. And while you are here, don't miss a guided tour through the historic creative quarter, giving a fascinating insight into the networking and co-working spaces at the event centre. If you care to leave behind the walls of the factory and go on an outing, you can explore the city of Linz. With its many historic monuments and buildings, the picturesque banks of the Danube and the internationally renowned Mural Harbor – Europe's largest street art gallery – the capital of Upper Austria offers plenty to explore.
