Even though the time-honoured convent has already clocked up a number of years, the seminar facilities have the most modern technical equipment. Just like all the other rooms, the two largest meeting rooms named after the former nuns Sister Pazifica and Sister Maristella, offer suitable equipment to fulfil all your wishes for meetings and lectures: pin boards, flip charts and presentation cases, projectors including screens, microphones, loudspeakers, Wi-Fi as well as a mobile screen as an ideal presentation option. The Refugium Hochstrass also caters for the culinary wellbeing of its guests: For the morning break you will be pampered with savoury snacks and in the afternoon, there are sweet treats. You would like to get a bit of a boost between meetings? A 3-course lunch menu is served or prepared as a buffet, depending on the number of people. In the evening, regional delicacies from the Gault&Millau award-winning cuisine are served directly to your table. Are you and your team going to be here for longer? 14 cosy double and 24 single rooms plus two suites are available for overnight stays at the seminar hotel.

The "C" in convent stands for concentration and creativity

You’ll for sure conjure up new ideas at alternative locations like outside on the terrace or at the wooden podium in the middle of the outdoor greenery. Panoramic views over the treetops of Lower Austria definitely contribute to helping you breathe deeper and have more relaxing moments, reducing stress and anxiety. You and your team can also find new strength during group yoga, outdoor morning meditation or meetings on the weatherproof seating under the trees. The convent’s 167-hectare cosmos is also home to a biotope, on the banks of which there is an outdoor Finnish sauna for ultimate moments of relaxation. At the summer kitchen by the pond, you can put your baking skills to the test during a culinary team-building event, where everyone prepares crispy flat bread in an original Italian pizza oven or conjures up Kaiserschmarrn. Special leadership training with the hotel's own Noriker horses is also available. Explore the countryside, visit the Maria Lourdes Grotto using idyllic hiking trails, as well as taking guided forest and lantern walks, and soak up the tranquillity that the Vienna Woods exudes.
