Meetings without Borders

Carinthia Convention and its partners organised a culinary networking event for Slovenian meeting planners

The Jurcek Pavillion at GR – Ljubljana Exhibition Convention Centre turned into an innovative kitchen space for Carinthia Convention’s culinary networking event. 20 selected meeting organisers met 9 congress providers from Carinthia and Styria and established many new business connections and new contacts during the exclusive event.

The interactive introduction of Carinthia’s MICE offers was followed by a truly tasty experience: the participants created traditional dishes together, under the guidance of the two renowned chefs, Thomas Gruber from Carinthia and Igor Jagodic from Slovenia. A special highlight awaited the meeting planners at the end of the event: after being given an exclusive preview of future events in Carinthia, the participants watched a friendly cooking challenge between Thomas Gruber and Igor Jagodic.
