A conference centre with a difference
Wald 12 is no run-of-the-mill location for seminars, conferences and training courses – it has a very special feel. There's nothing to distract you here save the cowbells in the meadows or the glistening of fresh snow in winter. In the building are two big, bright seminar rooms with a very distinctive charm of their own and space for up to 20 guests. There are also three more rooms for small-group work. The venue is ideal for seminars and workshops, conferences, team-building events and Christmas parties. Outdoor events are also possible. The hosts will be happy to help you to organise and design your bespoke programme and proposed activities. Wald 12 is easily accessible at any time of year by car or on public transport, by train and bus. Alternatively a private shuttle service can be organised for you within the local area.
Good equipment and inviting rooms at the Wald 12 Holiday and Seminar House
To help you with your talks and presentations, Wald 12 provides you with flipcharts, pinboards, microphones and a projector. Wi-Fi and a sound system are included, too. You are also welcome to bring additional equipment of your own with you if you need it, and connect it here. To keep your strength up through the day, sweet and savoury snacks and fruit are available at coffee breaks. There is also a full-board option including a breakfast buffet, lunch and evening meal – you can compile your own menu from a number of suggested dishes. However, you are also free to arrange your own catering at this venue. Guests can spend the night in one of the ten double or single rooms, all of which have en-suite facilities. The rooms were fitted out by local craftsmen and are charmingly authentic, rustic and cosy. If the number of your guests exceeds the capacity of the house, there are other hotels in the immediate vicinity.
Time for some group activities
The Wald 12 Holiday and Seminar House is situated in a small village with around 600 inhabitants. It is a renovated farmhouse dating from the 16th century and is surrounded by forests, meadows and magnificent mountains: towering over the village are the Gamsbodenspitze, the Saladinaspitze and the Fensterlewand. Guests can spend some quiet time here in the garden or the cosy lounges, or they can undertake something more energetic: the wild and romantic Radona Gorge is just a few minutes' walk away, and also not far off is the winter sports paradise of Sonnenkopf am Arlberg, where in summer there is plenty of hiking trails for all abilities. You could also take an excursion to Lake Formarinsee and the Rote Wand mountain, regarded by many as the most beautiful place in Austria, or visit the Klostertal Museum to learn about the history and way of life in the Arlberg region from one of the regularly changing exhibitions.
